In this fourth episode, we talk about outdoor mattresses.

Once you have your wooden structure in place, the fun part begins - selecting the outdoor mattresses! There are plenty of options available, from standard foam mattresses to more luxurious memory foam or even water-filled options. Don't be afraid to mix and match different styles and textures to create a unique and comfortable area.

With multiple outdoor mattresses in place, you can create different lying options. You could arrange them in a row for a more traditional sunbathing experience, or angle them to create a cozy seating area. If you opt for a slightly wider mattress, you could even have a comfortable spot for two people to relax together.

To complete your outdoor relaxation area, consider adding some decorative touches such as colorful cushions or throws, outdoor lighting, or even some potted plants. With a little creativity, you can transform your garden or terrace into a peaceful oasis where you can unwind and recharge.

As an alternative to the hanging chair and undoubtedly a cheaper alternative is a hammock. They are available in many different colors and textures. I recommend choosing a hammock in a neutral earthy tone and adding pillows in your favorite color.

There are ao many advantages of using a hammock, including:

Comfort: Hammocks provide a comfortable lounging experience as they contour to the shape of your body.

Portability: Hammocks are lightweight and easy to pack, making them ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and travelers. Wherever you create your chill out area. You can easily pack and carry them in a backpack, and they take up very little space.

Versatility: Hammocks can be set up in a variety of locations, from the beach to the backyard. They are also ideal for outdoor activities such as camping.

Cost-effective: Hammocks are relatively inexpensive compared to deckchairs, making them an affordable option for people who want to enjoy a comfortable lounging experience without spending a lot of money.

Relaxation: Hammocks can provide a sense of relaxation and tranquility that can be difficult to achieve in other types of environments. They can be a great way to unwind after a long day, read a book, or simply enjoy the outdoors.

Alternatively, you can hang the chair on a stand on your terrace. This can be a great option if you don't have a suitable tree or want more control over the placement of the chair. You can purchase a stand specifically designed for hanging chairs, or you can make your own using materials like wood or metal.

When choosing a hanging chair, consider the size and style of your garden or terrace, as well as your own personal preferences for comfort and design. Look for chairs made from sturdy materials like rattan or wicker, and make sure they have a weight limit that can support the intended user.

I understand that finding the right outdoor sofa can be difficult as there are many different factors to consider such as size, material and design. Here are some tips that can help you find the right sofa:

Size: Think about how many people you want on the sofa and how much space you have in your outdoor area. You want to make sure the sofa isn't too big or too small.

Material: Choose a material suitable for outdoor use, such as weatherproof wood or durable wicker. It should also be easy to clean and easy to maintain.

Comfort: Think about how comfortable you want the sofa to be. Foam padding is comfortable, but it can stay wet for a long time in heavy rain. Foam with quick-drying material is an alternative.

Design: Choose a design that suits your personal style and outdoor space. There are many different designs to choose from, from modern to traditional or rustic styles.

By considering these factors, you can find the right outdoor sofa for you.

No room is complete without a lamp. In fact, no room is complete without at least three lights.Many people don't pay enough attention to their lighting. 

The kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom should have at least two other light sources in addition to the ceiling light. The children's room also looks much more homely with 3 light sources.

This setup should give you plenty of ambiance options, and you can make it even more flexible by adding dimmers to your lights. These are now super easy to install with the appropriate light bulbs.

The focal point in this hallway is a macramé at the end of the hallway, then I set up a long buffet and hung a mirror above it, opposite are two large paintings. A beautiful sea grass hanging lamp and a nice potted plant complete the overall picture of the hallway.

Working from home – sounds like heaven at first. But before you start as a self-employed person or as an employee try to work from home permanently, you have to create the necessary conditions at home. Not every apartment is suitable as a professional working place. A spacious apartment or a classic cottage in the countryside is ideal.

Initial equipment for a home office:

This is what you need for an optimally set up for a home office:

- Ergonomic office chair
- Desk (ideally height-adjustable so you can work while standing)
- Storage options such as roll containers or cupboards
- Sufficient lighting (daylight, desk lamp, overhead lighting)
- Computer with keyboard and mouse
- one or two screens of at least 22 inches
- a notebook stand or docking station (if using a laptop)
- possibly headset for conferences

------- and fresh flowers or plants. This ensures a good indoor climate and makes you happy

1/ In the kitchen: you can place single flowers in small vases.

2/ In the dining room or living room: large bouquets in large vases are suitable

3/ In the bedroom: this should be considered carefully. Of course, you can also arrange beautiful stylish artificial flowers here.

4/ In the bathroom: people often don't even think about that. Narrow vases beautifully arranged between jewelry utensils next to your bathtub looks beautiful.

5/ In the guest room: that's a really nice gesture and the guests are particularly happy about it.

As you can see, there is a place for fresh flowers in every room of your home - especially in spring time!
